Cyberpunk 2077 Maelstrom Missions Walkthrough Guide | The Pickup Quest
At the beginning of Cyberpunk 2077, The Pickup is one of the early quests which you will play after “The Ride” ends. This quest can be played by multiple methods and all of the methods will have a different story so you have to keep this thing in mind before choosing to play a quest because, in the end, the story matters a lot.
In “The Pickup” you meet with Jackie Welles, and you will be calling the Militech agent Meredith Stout or you can choose to play alone, you will have an option to choose the key objective here. Also, make sure to take help from agent Meredith because it will allow you to have more options in the quest, later. To begin with, you have to call Meredith Stout to have a meeting in Watson, she will ask you a couple of questions, where you meet here, under the overpass. You have to answer her questions, depends upon the life path you have chosen.
Meredith will give you a Chip that has a tracker and is already encrypted and she wants you to pay for the bot with the Militech Datashard.

After that, you will meet Jackie and have to go to All Foods by the intercom. Now you have to go into the base and then take them upstairs to have some convo with Dum Dum.
Also, you have to keep in mind, that you have to claim Jackie when you option.
If the Militech Datashard is hacked then offer it to Meredith and if not then be ready for a fight. If you don’t want to give them chips then you have to fight with Maelstrom and Royce and have to kill all the members. After that run from there and come out of there, Meredith must be waiting out for you and the quest ends here.
